Pelican™ Adds Rotationally Molded Case Range Offering Infinite Equipment Protection Solution Choices

Torrance, CA - June 1st, 2009,- Following the acquisition of Hardigg Industries (December 23, 2008), Pelican™ Products, the global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and nearly indestructible cases announced today that its range now offers both injection and rotationally molded cases. The offering establishes the company as the global market leader in ruggedized equipment protection solutions.

Lyndon Faulkner, president and CEO, Pelican Products, Inc. said "The biggest winner with this offering is the customer because it gives them an incredible range of protection solutions, from a single source".

Rotational molding technology is a versatile manufacturing process that allows for simpler size/design customization and produces highly durable ruggedized shipping cases. Cases are created with several molds that are placed on a machine at the same time. Plastic resin is loaded into each of the molds which are then heated and slowly rotated on both the vertical and horizontal axis. This results in seamless parts with more material in the corners and edges for additional impact protection. Since the part is not stressed during production, the finished part is stronger.

New product offerings include:
· Black Box™ Rack Mount Cases
These lightweight, compact, and double ended cases offer light to medium duty protection (for communication and recording systems, etc.) and boast significantly better light duty shock performance than the competition. The use of recycled materials in the shell and a sturdy steel frame offer great value while upholding Hardigg's industry-leading standards.

· Specialty Products
Specialty products are well engineered portable workspace solutions. These include portable desks that setup in minutes and storage chests with metal drawers and dividers to keep supplies safe and organized. For protecting personal gear, foot and trunk lockers are lightweight and lockable.

· Extra Large Shipping Cases
For dependable large equipment transport and protection, the Large, X-Large, or XX-Large Ruggedized Shipping Cases are lightweight, shockproof, watertight, dustproof, heat, and chemical-resistant.
